Training Overview:
Complex behaviors encompass a spectrum of brain-based conditions with a wide range of neurobehavioral symptoms. Using the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model to address complex behaviors provides a common language for participants to enhance ongoing collaboration and networking among those living and working with people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders in all systems.
This training links brain function with everyday behaviors and introduces an evidence-based emerging best practices approach to developing appropriate and effective person-specific strategies in all settings. Participants in past trainings have included parents/caregivers, teachers, nurses, physicians, attorneys, mental health and addictions professionals, psychologists, social workers, corrections professionals, employers, people with FASD, among others.
